Audience

Two speakers sit on a balcony, four floors above a busy London road. Framed like a stage with an active backdrop, the speakers perform to camera, sounding out the unmistakable sounds of an appreciative audience. Captions give us the official track descriptions of the recordings as they laugh, laugh and clap, and applaud. Performer stage and audience are reversed and reflected as the intoxicating sound of approval projects back onto the viewer.
